My own experience with anxiety, as a success-driven high achiever during my teens, twenties and early thirties resulted in persistent illness, cancer, low mood, burnout, sleep issues and a short failed marriage.
Deciding doing life differently might be better, I began learning to manage my emotion-based responses to events rather than trying to control my world, and life changed. Happiness became easier to access, and periods of low mood became short-lived. I quit smoking cigarettes, my sleep quality improved and so did my relationships; I even learned how to stay married! My life is not perfect, but how I experience my life is now something I am very comfortable with.
I started to gather relevant qualifications in belief and behaviour management. Once qualified in the fields of Coaching, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Hypnosis I began to help other people to face their demons and switch off anxiety and addiction as a default response to life. Upgrading my formal qualifications to a BSc Hons in Clinical Hypnosis and an MSc in Psychology in London was formative.
After working with many people in many places and circumstances. Now, I facilitate change with people using my Kick A Habit Approach via our online courses.

Andrea, with 25+ years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, and author of Fear Less Live More is now working as a Solution-Focused Coach & Therapist with a MSc in Psychology.

Andrea works in private practice as a therapist in London and Surrey in the UK and is also available to support our Kick A Habit clients with personal and group coaching.
